Our Team

Our team lead by Project Supervisor Mark Alford, open licenced builder, QBCC 1220133, has been in the Construction and Property industry for 30 years.  Marks career highlights include working as Site Foreman on Wembley Stadium and Heathrow Airport, being a Project Director for the Predella Group of companies in Brisbane, working as a Project Manager for Oman Airports Corporation on the Muscat International Airport Expansion, moving back to Brisbane in 2012 and starting construction in his own right in 2013 in Brisbane. 

Recent completed Brisbane projects include; a small high-rise Medical Centre in Spring Hill, renovation and construction of 3 houses in Hamilton, 15 townhouses at Loganholme, luxury terrace house refurbishment and redevelopment in Kelvin Grove and 7 luxury townhouses and houses in Highgate Hill.

Mark is supported by a team of staff that have been with him for several years.  Carmen Francis, Contracts Manager and Financial Officer, has been working in this role since 2017 and been in the construction industry since 2015.  He is supported onsite by Noel Lynch, who has been working as his Senior Carpenter and Foreman since 2016, supporting him through the various projects, and Arana Lawrence, Senior Carpenter and Joiner, who has been working with Mark since 2013.

To assist with corporate governance Mr Ren Richards, builder of 40 years experience, is employed on a consultancy basis to ensure Safety Management, Staff Training, Quality Assurance and Client Services from Carmark is maintained to the highest of standard.  Mr Richards currently works for the Master Builders Queensland in their Management Committee for the South Brisbane and Gold Coast Region.  Ren like Mark is also an open Licenced Buillder with a vast number of projects completed over his career.
